Salary: From £65,600 with 20% Bonus, Family Healthcare, and Car Allowance | Flexible Working Pattern | Closing date: 26th April 2024
About the Role:
As the Battery Storage & Solar PV Operations Manager at Whitelee Windfarm, Fenwick, you will oversee ScottishPower Renewables’ Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar PV assets. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant management of these technologies across operational locations in the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement New Technology Asset Management strategies.
- Lead Preventative and Corrective Maintenance strategies.
- Develop operational, organizational, and competency strategies.
- Provide real-time decision-making for regulatory compliance and commercial performance.
- Support asset integration phases and manage O&M budgets.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical discipline with utility/generation operations experience.
- Experience in managing BESS and/or Solar PV plants.
- Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental principles.
- Flexibility for varied locations and working hours, with a full UK driving license.
- IT literacy with MS Office proficiency.
