Key Responsibilities

🔹 Project Management: Lead clean energy and decarbonization projects for clients nationwide.
🔹 Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with utilities, policymakers, and industry leaders.
🔹 Energy Program Development: Design, review, and enhance energy efficiency & renewable energy programs.
🔹 Economic & Policy Analysis: Conduct market research, economic modeling, and regulatory assessments.
🔹 Proposal Development: Assist in business development & funding acquisition for new consulting projects.
🔹 Strategic Thought Leadership: Represent VEIC at national and international sustainability forums.

What You’ll Bring

✅ Education & Experience:
✔ Bachelor’s degree (Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related field).
✔ 5+ years of experience in energy consulting, renewable energy, or sustainability policy.
✔ Expertise in managing projects & client relationships (multifamily affordable housing decarbonization preferred).
✔ 3+ years of experience in energy efficiency or clean energy programs.

✅ Skills & Competencies:
✔ Strong strategic thinking & problem-solving skills.
✔ Excellent interpersonal & persuasive communication abilities.
✔ Proficiency in quantitative analysis & economic modeling.
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewables, and climate policy trends.
