Key Responsibilities

πŸ”Ή Project Management: Lead clean energy and decarbonization projects for clients nationwide.
πŸ”Ή Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with utilities, policymakers, and industry leaders.
πŸ”Ή Energy Program Development: Design, review, and enhance energy efficiency & renewable energy programs.
πŸ”Ή Economic & Policy Analysis: Conduct market research, economic modeling, and regulatory assessments.
πŸ”Ή Proposal Development: Assist in business development & funding acquisition for new consulting projects.
πŸ”Ή Strategic Thought Leadership: Represent VEIC at national and international sustainability forums.

What You’ll Bring

βœ… Education & Experience:
βœ” Bachelor’s degree (Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related field).
βœ” 5+ years of experience in energy consulting, renewable energy, or sustainability policy.
βœ” Expertise in managing projects & client relationships (multifamily affordable housing decarbonization preferred).
βœ” 3+ years of experience in energy efficiency or clean energy programs.

βœ… Skills & Competencies:
βœ” Strong strategic thinking & problem-solving skills.
βœ” Excellent interpersonal & persuasive communication abilities.
βœ” Proficiency in quantitative analysis & economic modeling.
βœ” Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
βœ” Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewables, and climate policy trends.
