Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to transport materials across the construction site.
- Load, unload, and stack materials while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to streamline material logistics.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any incidents or near-misses.
- Assist with inventory control and material tracking processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years operating forklifts in construction or industrial settings.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license as per local regulations.
- Skills: Strong understanding of safety practices, excellent spatial awareness, and mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in renewable energy or large-scale construction projects.
- Familiarity with safety standards like OSHA or local equivalents.
- Proven track record of reliability and commitment to safety.
