Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to transport materials across the construction site.
  • Load, unload, and stack materials while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to streamline material logistics.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any incidents or near-misses.
  • Assist with inventory control and material tracking processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years operating forklifts in construction or industrial settings.
  • Certification: Valid forklift operator license as per local regulations.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of safety practices, excellent spatial awareness, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in renewable energy or large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with safety standards like OSHA or local equivalents.
  • Proven track record of reliability and commitment to safety.
