We are a U.S. Military Veteran-Owned Renewable Energy Small Business specializing in Commercial, Civil, and EV Charging Station Construction Projects. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions, and we’re looking for a Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in Solar Electrical Engineering to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Develop Interconnection and Construction Drawing Sets for 5MW Community Solar Projects, Rooftop Solar Installations, and EV Charging Stations.
- Electrical System Design: Work on low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Project Oversight: Collaborate with site teams and conduct on-site visits as needed.
- Code Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to state and national electrical codes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with construction teams, vendors, and clients to optimize solar and EV charging infrastructure.
Requirements
✅ Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required) – Must be licensed in NY or have a plan to obtain certification within 12 months.
✅ 3+ years of experience in Solar Electrical Engineering.
✅ Experience with Community Solar (5MW+ Projects), EV Charging Stations, and Commercial Solar projects.
✅ Expertise in low, medium, and high voltage system design.
✅ Strong background in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and electrical load calculations.
✅ Open to candidates based in NY, NJ, PA, VT, MA, CT with the flexibility to travel for site visits.
