What You’ll Do

🚀 Key Responsibilities

✔ Analyze design and construction documents to identify energy efficiency compliance gaps.
✔ Develop & review energy models for various building types using industry-standard software.
✔ Perform energy code research & education for compliance with IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, and Green Building Programs.
✔ Conduct energy consumption & life-cycle analysis of proposed/existing buildings.
✔ Support permitting processes and assist city and local jurisdictions with energy code plan reviews.
✔ Coordinate with internal and external teams to communicate mandatory energy code requirements.
✔ Research energy incentives & rebate programs for specific project applications.
✔ Deliver technical reports, presentations, and compliance documentation for sustainability projects.
✔ Provide training & education to teams on energy modeling protocols and best practices.

What You’ll Bring

🎯 Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
✔ Experience with energy modeling software (Trane Trace, Ekotrope, WrightSoft preferred).
✔ Knowledge of IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, ENERGY STAR, and other energy efficiency standards.
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar design tools (preferred).
✔ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
✔ Excellent written & verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams & clients.
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

🌟 Bonus Skills
✅ Certifications in HERS, IECC Plan Review, or Building Energy Modeling Professional (or ability to obtain).
✅ Experience with energy incentive programs, building envelope analysis, and HVAC system design.
✅ Familiarity with ArchiSnapper and energy modeling compliance documentation.
