Job Title: Sustainability Program Manager, Net Zero

Location: Remote (Based in Menlo Park, CA)

Salary: $116,000 – $166,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits

Role Description:

As the Sustainability Program Manager for Net Zero, you will be instrumental in driving Meta’s scaled supplier engagement strategy. This role focuses on designing and implementing solutions to significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across Meta’s supply chain. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to enhance sustainability initiatives and achieve Meta’s ambitious environmental goals.


  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions among key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to integrate renewable energy and carbon reduction solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of decarbonization projects.
  • Provide expertise on GHG accounting principles and sustainable practices.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to represent Meta in sustainability forums.
  • Travel occasionally (10%) to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Energy, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of decarbonization strategies for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a blend of internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Direct experience with electronics supply chains and global sustainability initiatives.
